The Challenge

Harry hall is the UK’s leading online department store for equestrian apparel and country clothing. Established in the 1870’s, Harry hall is an industry leading online department store, known for the best loved and well known equestrian brands and country wear.  

Harry Hall had recently migrated to a new website – consolidating all of their websites into one. 

They approached us to work with their internal marketing team on the SEO and PPC to grow the site’s performance.  

The SEO Strategy

After initial introductions, we first sat down with the marketing team and mapped out the priorities and set ourselves some high level expectations.  After completing this we had a solid plan in place to reach the target.

We first performed a full technical audit on the website to uncover any errors that may be detrimental to future rankings. Following this we implemented on page SEO recommendations optimising content for highly researched and targeted keywords. This would increase rankings, drive traffic and boost sales. 

In order to further boost keyword rankings, we strengthened the backlink profile, gaining links from relevant and high authority websites. 

We worked tightly with the internal marketing team, ensuring there were weekly calls with both the team and CEO to discuss the next steps and support decision making.

The PPC Strategy 

With the internal marketing team, we completely restructured of the AdWords account in line with the overall strategy.  We then had a clearer vision of where we wanted to take the PPC account. Seeing an opportunity, we set up and implemented Google Shopping in order to provide a more visual ad to users to drive clicks and increase revenue. 

We rolled out Single Keyword Ad Groups for text ads, increasing engagement, lowering cost and increasing return on ad spend.
