Lucy Sambrook

Storytelling has taken Lucy on quite a journey! Starting in the fast-paced newsroom at London’s Metro, then spending more than a decade in PR agencies, she’s built her career helping brands find their audience and make their mark. These days she’s back in her hometown of Brighton, where she also moonlights as a writer and content creator for Brighton on the Inside. Over the years Lucy’s worked with everything from sustainable fashion favourite Lucy & Yak to Nike fitness coaches, Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels.

Lucy’s diverse experience across journalism, PR, and local content creation means she understands how to craft stories that genuinely resonate with different audiences whilst maintaining authentic brand voices.

Away from PR campaigns and her stack of favourite magazines and newspapers, you’ll find Lucy wobbling around on a paddleboard in the choppy Brighton sea, reviewing the latest restaurants and openings for Brighton on the Inside, coaxing vegetables to grow in her garden, or tracking down the best new matcha spots in town.
