Louis Perkins

Louis started out studying business & finance, and like many people, left education a little unsure of what he wanted to do. After trying a few different paths, he quickly realised it was the people side of business that really grabbed him.

Working towards his CIPD qualification, Louis spent four years in HR at a large corporate, learning the ropes through various roles ranging from acquisitions and mergers to compensation and leadership development. He soon realised he had a habit of asking “Why?” when presented with any new policy or process – which is exactly why Seed felt like the perfect fit!

At Seed, Louis focuses on all things people-related: recruiting, mentoring, compensation, engagement, expanding progressive visions, and developing strategies to help grow whilst staying true to core values. His questioning nature and people-first approach ensures HR evolves alongside the ever-changing world of work.

Outside of work, you’ll find Louis doing something car-related, whether that’s attending a car event, or hunting down a gem to buy and do up. When he’s not obsessing over his favourite car, he’s probably learning to fly his drone at the beach with his cockapoo Wilson.
