Hi I’m Esme 🙂 I started working at Seed last summer and so far, it has been a blast. Coming from both a PPC and Paid Search background I slotted right in and found my place.
Although my day to day job involves working on client accounts, Seed’s progression structure has allowed me to follow my own path and create the future and role that I want – thinking about how that works within Seed too. Incoming – squiggly careers!
I have involved myself in business development, project management and internal Seed processes – something that I may not have even thought of before. It is great as I feel free to speak up and know that my voice is heard. This has helped me think about how we can all work together to grow Seed and upon getting more involved in the social media team, together with my peers, we were able to spot a growth opportunity.
Introducing Social to Seed
So, 2022 was a big year for the social department at Seed, as a team we put our heads together and pooled our strengths to grow the social media services. We expanded our services and grew the Seedlings who were allocated to this service.
Our team
Keeping up to date with platforms and services ensures our customers are getting the best out of their social media strategy. As a team we have a wide variety of skills and all have a keen interest to grow these.
Thanks to Seeds generous training time, the team regularly join webinars, speak to our platform reps and take the time to understand how we can be improving and growing campaigns with the clients long term ‘North-Star’ goals as the focus. Whilst in addition – we have all been given the opportunity to grow the social department as a team and we have learnt a lot along the way such as business operations, pricing, targets and more!
Many of our team also work across SEO, PPC and other services offered at Seed which helps when looking at the bigger picture and creating a holistic, omni-channel marketing approach for our clients.
Holistic approach
We see the value of a holistic approach across all social platforms as well as PPC and SEO ensuring we are reaching customers at all touch points of their journey whether it be paid or organic.
In doing this, it helps us gain in-depth knowledge of our clients audiences allowing us to tailor content and messaging towards the right people. We use a funnelled approach to reach customers right at the beginning and guide them through the middle of the funnel and finally re-marketing campaigns ensuring they complete that purchase. One of the things I love about this is how strategic we can be, and how much we can incorporate our client’s business goals and put a strategy together to align with this.
What services do we offer?
At the moment (watch this space!) our social services span across the 4 main platforms; Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest and Tik Tok for both paid and organic social on a retainer and consultancy basis.
Our other services include social event management, audit and strategy sessions as well as social training. All of this is supported by our amazing in-house creative production team who put together organic calendars, create video reels and offer product photoshoot packages too!
Having become an honorary Seedling in 2022 myself, I was really keen to get involved in this growth and learn from my peers while sharing my knowledge to increase the pool of skills. It has been a fun experience learning what it’s like to grow a department, what’s involved and being able to offer so much more to our clients. We are predicting large growth within our ever expanding social team and I’m looking forward to seeing how this develops in 2023!
