Marie has almost a decade of experience in digital marketing, split between being a copywriter and social media manager. Her career started in the Philippines (where she was also born and bred), but really took off when she moved to Singapore, where she worked her way from being a paid social executive to being the head of the social media department.
In 2020, she moved to the UK with her husband, starting a new chapter in their personal and professional lives. With Seed, she hopes to help brands to achieve the benefits of paid social. Marie is also really invested in developing the company’s design capabilities, with creatives being a crucial part of any social media activity, but also because creatives are such a great way to squeeze everyone’s brain juices!
Outside of work, Marie is having a ball exploring the UK and Europe. In her travel bucket list: experiencing tulip season in the Netherlands, watching hot air balloons fly in Turkey, searching for whales in Norway, diving off a yacht in Greece, and visiting Santa’s village in Lapland, among many, many others.
