Liforme is an innovative yoga mat company known for its pioneering alignment system and revolutionary ‘GripForMe’ technology, designed to enhance the practice of yoga teachers and enthusiasts worldwide. With a strong eco-friendly ethos, Liforme sets itself apart in the sector by creating sustainable mats that avoid PVC and appeal to yogis of all levels.
Before exploring Snapchat, Liforme had already established a robust digital presence across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Google, YouTube and Microsoft Ads, supported by a strong organic following. While these channels delivered good results, the brand wanted to expand its reach in the UK and US markets by testing new platforms.
We identified Snapchat as a promising platform due to its strong under-25 user base, a demographic that had proven difficult to convert on TikTok, Pinterest and Meta. With 38% of Snapchat’s audience sitting in the 18–24 age bracket, we saw an opportunity to reach this segment more effectively and measure its potential to drive conversions.
To test this, we launched campaigns during a sale period, combining broad targeting with learnings from Meta and TikTok to shape an audience profile aligned with Liforme’s ethos. We also explored Snapchat’s unique US targeting options, such as household income, which suited the premium positioning of the brand. By starting broad and focusing on performance data, we were able to identify which audiences responded best and how to optimise future campaigns.
Launching on Snapchat confirmed that the platform could expand Liforme’s reach while delivering strong returns. The campaign showed clear potential to convert younger audiences, while also uncovering higher engagement among male-identifying users compared to other paid social channels. Compared to Tiktok, a platform which also caters to younger audience, Snapchat performance in the same period has proven extremely strong:
These results highlighted Snapchat as a valuable addition to Liforme’s paid social strategy, unlocking new audience potential and diversifying performance beyond their existing channels.
