FIRST4MAGNETS is the UK’s leading supplier of magnets and magnetic products, trusted across industrial, educational and domestic sectors. Known for precision, quality and innovation, the brand provides solutions for engineers, DIY enthusiasts and educators alike, with a product range spanning neodymium magnets, assemblies and specialist tools.
Despite a strong reputation and repeat customer base, FIRST4MAGNETS’ Meta advertising activity had been conservative, with little testing of new campaign formats. Seed was brought in to develop a scalable paid social strategy that could increase revenue without compromising efficiency, while also setting the foundation for a long-term test-and-learn approach.
We began by auditing historical account performance to identify leading products, underutilised placements and creative strengths. Early actions included refreshing creative assets with product-focused and use-case-led variations, setting up engaged and existing audience groups, and reviewing cross-channel product margins to find high-potential opportunities.
Once live, the Advantage+ Shopping campaign was refined through systematic testing of product categories, budget caps and audience segments. We introduced lifestyle and customer-led creatives alongside product-only ads, layered in first-party data to improve targeting, and scaled budgets steadily. This structured approach allowed us to optimise performance continually while maintaining profitable ROAS.
Over 12 months (May 2024 – May 2025), the Advantage+ Shopping campaign delivered substantial growth, proving itself as a scalable, high-performing format for FIRST4MAGNETS. The results demonstrated the power of creative testing, data-driven optimisation and platform-led automation to drive both efficiency and revenue.
Within just one year, FIRST4MAGNETS more than 15x’d their revenue and nearly 20x’d their purchase volume on Meta Advantage+ Shopping campaigns, all while halving their cost per purchase.
