Senior PR Account Executive

Summary

We are looking for a PR superstar! Seed is launching its PR division and is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to help grow the team. Working alongside the founders and our newly appointed PR consultant, the person should be bright, enthusiastic and passionate with a proactive, can-do attitude. A proven knowledge of the PR industry, with a heavy sway on digital PR and a strong ‘black book’ of media contacts is essential.

Responsibilities

No two days are the same at Seed, and we actively encourage experimentation, allowing you freedom in your role. Some of the daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with digital first and print media contacts and influencers.
  • Writing compelling press releases and media alerts that showcase our clients and their products.
  • Be able to identify key selling in times to press, and create newsworthy content accordingly on behalf of the client.
  • Secure high-quality online and offline media coverage for clients, ensuring key messages are effectively communicated.
  • Manage media outreach and pitch compelling story ideas to media outlets.
  • Plan, develop, and execute innovative PR campaigns that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of digital campaigns, including influencer partnerships and online events.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, providing detailed reports and insights to clients.
  • Develop comprehensive PR strategies (both on and offline) that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Identify and leverage emerging trends and opportunities within the digital media landscape.
  • Collaborate with clients to align digital PR strategies with broader marketing and business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in PR.
  • Proven track record of securing standout online media coverage.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for digital platforms.
  • Proficient in crafting press releases, media alerts, and social content.
  • Extensive experience in digital and social media management, including community management.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing principles.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful digital PR strategies.
  • Established digital media and influencer contacts
  • Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and online media outlets.
  • Experience leading complex digital campaigns and projects such as influencer partnerships and online events.
  • Competence in planning and executing digital media briefings and virtual events
  • Experience in drafting scopes of work, client budgets, and planning documents
