Senior SEO Executive

About the Role

Seed is looking for a driven and capable Senior SEO Executive to support and implement high-performing SEO strategies across a range of client sectors, including ecommerce and lead generation. This is a hands-on role best suited to someone who is skilled in all areas of SEO, confident working with clients, and passionate about delivering measurable results.

As a Senior SEO Executive, you’ll work directly with account leads and strategists to carry out SEO work that makes a tangible difference. From technical audits to content optimisations, you’ll play a crucial part in the day-to-day delivery of our SEO offering, ensuring strategies are implemented effectively, insights are communicated clearly, and performance is constantly improved.

  • Salary: £27k - £32k
  • Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and content pillars
  • Carry out technical SEO audits, identify issues, and deliver clear, prioritised recommendations
  • Conduct keyword research, metadata optimisation, and content recommendations
  • Collaborate with developers and clients to implement changes and track their impact
  • Monitor site performance, crawlability, page speed, structured data and indexing status
  • Work closely with SEO Strategists and Account Managers to ensure timely delivery of work
  • Proactively spot opportunities and suggest improvements for existing clients
  • Produce clear, concise reporting with actionable insights tailored to client KPIs
  • Communicate confidently with clients via calls, emails and presentations
  • Stay informed on industry changes, algorithm updates and emerging tools

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in SEO, ideally in an agency environment
  • Strong technical SEO capabilities including audits, diagnostics and implementation
  • Comfortable using key SEO tools: Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, SEOMonitor etc
  • Familiar with structured data, Core Web Vitals, and site migrations
  • Strong communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to clients and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Eagerness to learn, experiment and refine SEO approaches
  • A collaborative, proactive attitude – able to take ownership of tasks and support team growth
  • Awareness of how SEO integrates with content, UX, and other marketing channels
